23rd August 2006. We have just returned from two weeks in Turkey, staying at Club Bitez, Bitez, Nr. Bodrum. You will have difficulty in finding any other information about this hotel on the Internet, as I did prior to going, and that is the reason that I am writing this review. Reviews or information relating to the hotel when it was named Onemli Hisar have no bearing on the actual place as it is now. We were led to believe that this was a 3 star hotel but believe me, this hotel would be lucky to receive 1 star for the service it is currently offering. This place would be shut down instantly if it tried to operate in the U.K. There are health and safety hazards wherever you look. Our children were put in a room which had mains cable running across the floor, thick plate glass cracked from end to end hangs above the main entrance, food is left uncovered for hours (the open buffet) in a room that is not air-conditioned, with open windows at temperatures in excess of 30 degrees... more
