Have just returned from 2 weeks all inclusive at the Club Palme Hotel which until recently was known as the Club Turmen Hotel.

The Hotel:

The hotel is situated on the edge of Gumbet, a short walk from the shops and nightlife. The beach is accessed via a driveway type path at the rear of the hotel and is approximately a 1 minute walk. On arrival at the hotel, a staff member came out to the minibus to greet us and help with our cases. We were shown to our room (and again helped with our cases) which initially appeared clean and pleasant. It appears that the hotel has recently been refurbished, however, the bath was dirty and there was a hole in the bathroom tiles by the taps (see pictures). Despite leaving the card on the door for the room to be cleaned this only happened four times during our 2 week stay. One of these was the day before departure when the room was cleaned thoroughly.
