Just got back from staying at the La Maison Apartments in Gumbet. If you have a young family avoid this place. If you are 18 to 25yrs and need a base just to sleep then it's fine. Service we received was the worst I have ever experienced, in the week I stayed I had to ask 3 times for my room to be cleaned and when it was they didnt clean bathroom. If you are unlucky enough to get rooms 111, 112, 113 and so on, please note you will get a nice fresh smell of sewage so dont keep any windows open. The smell of sewage also works it's self round into your shower. I complained at least 10 times about this and nothing was done. Asked for some toilet roll and it promptly arrived 2 days later. They have no access for pushchairs/wheelchairs. The bar stays open till 7am and if there are roudy teenagers coming back from clubs, dont expect to get much sleep. A neighbour received an electric shock in their shower because of poor electrical wiring. I will upload some pictures of dead cockroaches in... more
