Great rooms facing the ocean with balcony. Very nice outdoor area beachside too. Most areas could have used just a little sprucing up, but maybe they do that during the winter months. Rooms were nice sized and quite acceptable. more

The Windjammer was one of the best hotels we stayed at on our 2week tour of the southeast coast. From Orlando Florida to Nags Head. Thw Windjammer was awesome. Even though there was a storm during our stay the place was still beautiful. If we are ever back in this area this is the place to stay more

Nice place to stay. One downside....no coffee pots in the rooms. Coffee in lobby isn't available till 7:00am and it's not all that good. Love that all the rooms are oceanview. Elevator is really really slow. Staff was very friendly. After season, chairs are not available to use on the beach.....bummer! more

We have been staying at the Windjammer for 4 years now and each year the hotel gets a little better, especially the grounds around the pool and beach area. It looks like your staying at a much more exspensive hotel. It's location is great for the beach, pool, pier, restaurants, etc. Rooms could use an upgrade but then the price... more

This is our second stay at the Windjammer....and it was just as good as the first! We stayed four nights and had a huge specialty room w/two double beds and a nice dressing area/bathroom area. IT was so great to not have to lug chairs and umbrellas to the beach..and better yet...THEY WERE FREE!!!... Great place to stay!!! The ONLY... more

I traveled with my young son and teenage daughter who brought a friend. I was weary about traveling alone with 3 kids but when we got there we felt just as safe as if we were at home. I didn't feel the least bit uncomfortable in the area. The hotel was beautiful and the people are so hometown and friendly.... more

My son and I spent the weekend and had a very enjoyable stay. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was recently remodled and was great. Staff was friendly. Great views of ocean and beach. Free chairs and umbrellas on beach was a nice benefit as was the hot tub and sun deck. Pool is a little cramped. Would stay again. more
