We always stay at the Hampton Akron South when we visit family in the area. Time after time we find rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast is well stocked for the entire breakfast hours. Free Internet connection is consistent. Best of all, it's close to highways--interstate and state--so that getting around the area is easy. more

We stayed for one evening after a long, long drive and it was just what we needed. The staff was very friendly and quick with our check in. The property was well kept and the room was very nice. While only of average size our room was clean and was fully stocked with towels in the bathroom (a first for our family that needs 5 towels). If you stay here hope nothing goes wrong. Our room wasn't cleaned and the motel staff told us to call housekeeping ourselves. They also accused us of leaving the "do not disturb" sign out and that was why the room was skipped. We filed a complaint with Corporate Hampton Inn and the Manager never responded to us or the Corporation.... more
