It might be Econolodge and inexpensive, but this particular one is one great deal "somewhere between Eugene and Salem"! Found in our AAA Travel book and needing a one-night motel off I-5, this was nicer than many higher-end name brand chains I've stayed at. Bathroom immaculate, wireless connection worked great, mattress very good (firm no sagging), no noise from nearby airport, and even the artwork on the walls not tacky! I expected packaged junk for breakfast, but instead fresh poppyseed muffins and option to make own toast. No, no Belgian waffles, but after all, this IS a $59 room. As a bonus, try the next-door Yuen L__ Chinese restaurant - only tried it because exhausted and could walk over - soup packed with fresh, perfect (fresh!) veggies and loads of meat (if you ordered meat dish) - a treat for road-food weary folks. I should have put Excellent for the rating, but it is Econolodge and no one would believe it.
