A few of us spent a weekend at the Pinehurst Inn, and had a wonderful time! Even though it's quite a (windy) trek out of town, the inn provided a peaceful, cozy, hospitable, and delicious place to lay our heads! The Krizo's are wonderful hosts, and I hope visit again soon! more

When my husband called on short notice to book a room here for our anniversary, Ira was not only happy to oblige but went the extra mile (as he apparently does for all of his guests) to make our stay enjoyable. Dinner was an occasion to be remembered, with excellent food paired with amazing service. The room itself was wonderful,... more

we arrived in the early afternoon and were so pleased to be away from everything. Spent the afternoon reading and enjoying some of their wines from their great wine list. Late in the afternoon we asked for a fruit and cheese platter to be made for us. The attention and service was some of the finest i have ever experienced.... more

The Pinehurst Inn is down a very windy road, heck half the fun is getting there. Once we arrived, we realized that the photos on the website did not give the complete story. On the website, you get the feeling that the inn sits back from the main road. In fact, it sits on a gravel parking lot on the... more

I am sorry that we weren't able to make your stay a pleasant one, since it is our goal. However, I have a few points that I would like to clarify: 1. Spiders: the Inn was built in 1920 and is situated in the country. Unfortunately small uninvited creatures find their way through the cracks and in to the rooms...

This is a very interesting inn. It is isolated from the world. Cell phone service was not available there or in the proximity of the area. The rooms are very country-farm. Basic, comfortable, with no frills. Kind of a refreshing change of pace. By total contrast, the owner and chef, Ira, has studied culinary in New York and Paris and... more

My wife and I just thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pinehurst Inn for our anniversary. The Inn is situated next to a bubbling mountain creek that provided pleasant enjoyment for nature hicks and relaxation. Ira and Susanna Krizo, the host and proprietors, did not hesitate to make us feel special and pampered. Chef Ira's meals were outstanding, and the... more

Pinehurst Inn outside of Ashland, OR is a dumpy little place. The drive to it is horrible and the second-hand furniture and bad service make this a place to avoid! The pictures they have listed of the place must have been taken 20 years ago. more

Seconhand furniture: The Inn is furnished with antiques, quilts and real rugs. While looking for chairs (now in rooms 3 and 4) I met an antique dealer who said that he had wanted to buy some of the interior when he stayed in the Inn when it was owned by the previous owners. Pictures 20 years old: All rooms, except...
