We stayed here in June 2012, and again in Jan 2013. Same excellent service, large room, puffy towels, even 4 pillows on the bed. Clean, up-to-date. Breakfast is decent - cheese omelet and sausages, cereals, fruit. room heater/AC was quiet. It was a bit pricey for us ($69 incl. tx), but it's worth it for a short stay

Just needed one night and this worked well. Staff was attentive and took care of a problem with the first room without question. The Applebee's across the street was very convenient for dinner. The area seemed nice and was fairly close to the downtown area and USC Aiken.

Don't let the outside fool you! This hotel is very pleasant from the moment you walk in. This was my second visit and both times the front desk and housekeeping staff were courteous and kind.
