The furnishing were pretty ragged, but apparently clean. I was in a "pet-friendly" room, so maybe the "pet-less" rooms were nicer. My microwave was only partially functional. Our stay here did not at all reflect favorable reviews I read here. Our room was not clean--I know older hotel rooms can be clean and fresh, but this was not. Stayed here for one night during July. We arrived at TYS midnight and it was no trouble for them whatsoever to collect us from the airport. The room was basic but well equipped and clean. My wife and I stayed here in May and were very happy with our stay. The room was very clean, the shower had good water pressure and a nice massage shower head. It also had the bowed shower curtain that gives you plenty of room to shower without sticking to you. The furniture was new and in very good condition.... more
