Our organization spent the weekend in Alpine. We rented 15 rooms from the Maverick Inn and it was fabulous. The folks were warm, welcoming and very professional. It looks nice but upon staying there found there were some integral flaws. Firstly, the maid service here only provides clean towels. No bed making, no emptying of garbage cans, etc. We stayed here for 3 days so we actually emptied our own cans outside. Also, our bed was so broken down in the middle it was like sleeping in... more

The owners have done a wonderful job restoring this property but the service was lacking: The wireless Internet didn't work' the office was often not open during posted hours, so there was no access to the office's "public" computer and Internet access.
