I stayed here with a couple friends on the way back from California. We were just looking for a clean, cheap hotel and that is what we got. It is in a great location and we felt safe. Its nothing special but was fine for us just passing through. more

I won't be the first to point out area billboards advertise rates unavailable at the Hotel; but it's true. I was stuck in Amarillo overnight on business. My children thought the Camelot would be a neat place to stay based on the exterior. WRONG!! We should have asked to smell the room first. Clean enough but totally airless and they'd used some kind of heavy duty chemical laden scent to cover up what might have been a mold problem. more
