We stayed here with our gymnastics team, because it was one of the few places left with rooms. I checked out internet stuff before we left and the pics looked decent although the reviews were a bit scary. When we arrived, the lobby had be recently remodeled (meaning new carpet, coat of paint and light fixtures - the old was... more

We were passing through Amarillo and needed an economical hotel that wasn't scary. We're not familiar with Amarillo, and since it was dark when we got there, we didn't venture off the highway. The hotel looks pretty good from the front, and the lobby was really nice. The sign out front said 39.99 for a single, (double was 49.99) but... more

I stopped here because of coupon found in a travel magazine. When I arrived their sign was flashing "rooms 39.99 " The lobby was very nice and the rooms that opened in to the indoor courtyard appeared nice too......but that is NOT what I was given. Because I was not willing to pay a MUCH larger amount I was placed... more

The outside of the building looks pretty nice, and the location is great for several dining choices. The lobby is older, but actually looks pretty nice. we thought we got a good deal based on the pretty lobby. our room was wwaayyyyy in the back, and that's when the nightmare began. the back of the motel is very very old,... more

We stayed in the atrium section of the hotel. The rooms seemed newly renovated, large, comfortable pillow-top beds, good sized tv, the washroom looked brand new with granite counter, everything worked fine, nice and clean. No complaints at all. The breakfast was more than a typical continental, sausage and eggs as well. Can't comment about the discount section of the... more

Drove by and saw, what looked to be a very nice exterior, and a sign advertising for $49. Lobby was very nice, looked like a very expensive hotel, believed to have gotton a good deal. Went to room and was very disapointed walking to back of hotel, looked very shabby. once in room, sat on bed and it physically lifted... more

Just spent 5 nights at the Fifth Seasons-- it's not as bad as other reviews paint it. Was located in the "front" section-- the part that has been renovated. Granted, the back part of the motel looked old and not nearly as nice. The front part was nice, though. The room I had was a king-- very comfortable bed, very... more

I agree with all the other current reviews that gave this dump 1 star. Anyone who gave it 5 stars obviously works for the hotel. It is dirty and the staff rude. Just to get a room without bugs costs $20 extra!!! Breakfast is a rip-off. You get a couple things on a plate, and a second plate costs $3--as... more
