Northcross Suites was a great find for my 6 day workshop. I was really confused when driving into the facility as it resembles apartment style living - not a boxy hotel. Nicely updated (don't expect extravagance) with full kitchen 2 separate TV viewing areas in my suite. There is an exercise room with a TV to help walk-off the time... more

Run down 20+ year old apartment complex...not a "suite hotel" by any stretch. All external doors. On busy nights, you have to park in the street! Sits next to run down mall parking lot......not very safe. Ammenities claimed but not there, such as "business center"...NOT...one PC in the hall without internet browser?? This place was definately a converted apartment complex. The rooms are big and kind of 80's ish. The bed was ok. I loved the kitchen. The fridge kept my beer cold. more

We booked the suite on Hotels.com and got a very reasonable rate... the rooms were well laid out, large and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and black out curtains let us sleep in late. The staff couldn't have been friendlier - especially Yvette, the weekend hostess in the restaurant. The breakfast buffets (free!) were good quality and always fresh.... more

I've stayed in places that allowed pets before but I've never seen...or felt, evidence of a previous pet guest. I guess it's great for people who travel with their pets, didn't work so well for us. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed it for the most part. We were in Austin when they were experiencing record highs, 106 and 107 degrees and our A/C in the room kept us cool and comfortable the whole time.
