Alright, first the good things, the free breakfast was nice as were the free local newspapers on Friday and Saturday (though there was no free Sunday paper. Now the issues, on the Friday night when I got in, there were high school students in the hallway all evening on my floor. They apparently were staying there for a crosscountry meet.... more

Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, attentive staff. Not swanky, but good. Close to good restaurants, and not too far from the Univ. of Texas, Capitol. etc. Recently renovated room decor, flat screen TVs, nice. Convenient access to I-35, but no traffic noise. Caution:Rooms will cost more on UT game weekends. more

Clean, well maintained and spacious rooms with great extras that do not cost extra! Entering the parking lot requires the use of a room key so outsiders cannot drive through or hang out in that area. I felt safe parking our car there overnight. Pool and fitness center are nice and the pool has a privacy fence. Another bonus: one... more

You can't get more for your dollar than this place. The rooms are spacious (far more spacious than the luxury hotels downtown), and the amenities are well appointed and all free of charge. I have stayed in both the suites and the regular rooms. Both are bargains at the regular price ($119 and $139, respectively). Both regular rooms and suites... more

We were booked here because I like the Drury concept of giving you the "little extras" that other hotels don't provide. Although not in downtown Austin you are only a few minutes away. [Although Austin traffic is terrible. Also, we're not used to the highway system in Texas. Weird access roads that parallel the highway.] The hotel is older and... more

This is a superb hotel and part of an excellent group (although do not go for the Pear Tree Inns which are not as good). We had a two roomed suite which was roomy, clean and had everything we could wish for except crockery and cutlery. However, as is the norm in this group and others in the USA, paper... more

I was in town for a friend's wedding over Valentine's Weekend. Hotels were tough to find since it was a three day holiday weekend, Valentine's weekend, and the Austin Marathon was that Sunday. I booked Drury because their price was reasonable and their location was perfect for everywhere I needed to be that weekend. The customer service was great. The... more

The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast is pretty good - with sausage, egg, cereal, juice, french toast. The parking situation is a little odd - you have to use your card to get in the lot apparently because there has been some theft in the area - and there are security cameras up.... more

Thank you for choosing Drury Hotels! We appreciate hearing from our guests and thank you for making us aware of the smoke you smelled in the restroom. We do have a small smoking section for our smoking guests, but our hotel is almost 90% non-smoking. Occasionally, a smoking guest ends up in a non-smoking room, and then forgets they are...

Moving my daughter back to UT Austin and we extended our stay. We arrived on a Friday and left on Monday. Booked an E Saver room on line to save $$ and booked a King Suite - two separate rooms with a fold out sofa. This hotel was renovated last year and it shows well. Everything was clean. Asked for... more

This was our second stay at this hotel in the past few months. Stayed several nights in March 2008 and two nights this trip. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly and we enjoy the amenities that Drury offers - 60 minutes free long distance per night, great breakfast buffet and evening beverages & snacks. The exercise room is OK.... more
