When I booked my room, I requested non-smoking. They put me on the 3rd floor. The room was non-smoking, but the 3rd floor was not and the hallways reeked of smoke. The smell was horrible. My friend and I decided to take a quick trip to Austin. I saw that the Country Inn and Suites had mostly favorable reviews so I decided to give it a chance. We had a great stay. My manager likes Country Inn & Suites and was happy to find the Austin North location. The hotel in general was in good shape and the staff was nice, but his room was not clean at all. Moved to Hampton in the next morning. more
