This hotel was very nice -- free business center, clean fitness center and the staff was awesome. They offered terrific suggestions on where to go during our short stay in Austin. I'd recommend a rental car and take Riverside to downtown -- it's a straight shot. You've got to see the bats at dusk under Congress St. bridge, too! more

We stayed at this hotel while we were on our way to Costa Rica. Yes, we had a layover in Austin, TX. We arrived at about 11:30 pm. I was in town for a wedding (during SXSWi 2008 no less) and could not get a room at the Driskill, or anywhere downtown which is where I wanted to stay. I liked this hotel. Staff was very warm. The room was nice. The amenities were great. The only complaint I had was that my shower's water pressure was so low that I probably used more water trying to rinse out the shampoo & conditioner than I would have with decent pressure! more

The room was quite large with fridge & microwave. Beds were super comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from, (soft/ medium/ firm). Pull-out Sofa bed was OK. Stayed here for two nights while attending the Big 12 Football Championship game in San Antonio. It was worth the drive. The most comfortable beds I've slept in. The room was large (handicapped) and very clean. It is situated right next to the airport, but you would never know it. There is NO airport sound inside the hotel...none at all.... more

Best Courtyard I've ever stayed at--nicer than many 4*'s. The staff, from reception to concierge to room maid were so wonderfully gracious, caring, and genuine.
