Great location, beautiful hotel. It was a little loud, but we were downtown and it was Halloween night, its expected. more
We appreciate your feedback. Due to our location to the entertainment district and the popularity of the 6th St. festivities on Halloween, the noise level does tend to increase during that time. We're pleased you did enjoy your stay and hope you will return again in the near future.

One of the best things about this hotel is its great location which is convenient to most everything in Austin. But we also found it to be comfortable and well-appointed, with a very accommodating staff. We enjoyed staying there very much and would choose it again on another trip to this fun city. more

As a first trip to Austin location, it seemed like a good spot and it was pretty central overall to the downtown area. Everyone there was pretty helpful. We travelled to Austin for a long weekend of great music, food and hill country exploration. We had planned to stay downtown two nights then stay in a hill country B&B for a night or two, but found the B&B's mostly required two night minimum stays. I do not frequently stay at Omni hotels, but found this downtown Austin location pleasant. I'd definitely stay there again There is a massive atrium that the inside rooms look over. the meeting rooms were nice, the staff was pleasant, the room was clean and there are plenty of restaurants very close by. more

We recently stayed at the Downtown Austin Omni for the ACL festival. Ironically, we got by far the best deal booking thru Trip Advisor (orbitz) than going directly thru orbizt or calling hotel. I had reserved a standard/deluxe room, but upon my arrival at check in, found I had been upgraded to one of the club level floors.
