I think this is my third stay at the Renaissance Austin Hotel and I have honestly enjoyed each one. Weather was more forgiving this time and I was finally able to explore some of the surrounding area on foot. Delightful! Beautiful surroundings, and lots of shopping and restaurants in just walking distance. Get in your car and there is much... More

I stayed there for a business conference in January 2012 and was very impressed with both comfort and friendliness of the employees. The restaurant however was very expensive ($24 for a breakfast sandwich, juice and coffee - Really?) Room service was actually a penny cheaper for Breakfast, and it was a meat/eggs/hashbrowns with Juice and coffee. I thought that was... More

It's such a nice hotel! The whole place just looks fancy. It's very good for businesses and meetings. Definitely a higher class hotel. More

I stay here frequently on business in the area. Serviceable, clean, good gym, always polite and receptive staff. Atrium can be noisy at times and most rooms are exposed to it. Best though not least expensive choice in the Arboretum area. Not close to downtown. More

I stayed here for 2 days this month. Older decor and just very average. If you like the swankiness that I do don't expect that here. It is a 3star hotel at best. The location is perfect. More

Cashed in some Marriott points and spent a Saturday night here with my girlfriend. Was upgraded to a second floor executive suite for free. Extremely friendly staff. Hotel was a bit noisy at night and needs to be remodeled. However, overall it was a pleasurable stay! More

Nice hotel, probably best in the area, but a little steep in price. Parking is not great, and rooms can be far from elevator. Amenities are good, fish tank in lobby is unique, and the staff are very friendly. More

We had several rooms booked here for a wedding party. The hotel was perfect, the service was excellent and the sales department was so helpful when I was planning the block of rooms for the wedding. Loved every minute of our weekend! More

Overall it was a serviceable hotel, but I expected more. The rooms were O.K., but not great, fairly clean, with good bath products and water pressure. I stayed in two rooms, both were very humid, the carpet in the first was stained and curling in spots. I stayed in late Sept., which they consider cricket season - and they were... More

Pretty hotel in a nice location with a lot of options for food and fun close by. However, I encountered a few problems. The HVAC must be old - it was cold out and when I went to my room it was 74 degrees (too warm for me). After I couldnt adjust the temp I was informed that the hotel... More
