What a relaxing three days! A nice, quiet getaway on scenic Lake Champlain. The Inn owners do everything to make sure your stay is a great experience. Nice clean house near Lake Champlain (not on the shores) in a flat farm-land area. Garden pretty but countryside not nearly as picturesque as around and in the villages of Vergennes, Middlebury and Brandon. Barsen House was the best B&B we stayed in during a weeklong tour around northern Vermont. You simply cannot find nicer accomodation, warmer hosts, or more attractive environs. I recommended this establishment to my parents, too. It's simply fantastic. more

The Barsen House Inn was the perfect romantic getaway for my girlfriend and I. The hosts, Peter and Daphne were friendly and accomodating, while the rooms were exceptionally clean and atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. We just returned from a three night stay at the Barsen House Inn and would highly recommend this small B&B to anyone. It is only three rooms so you get individual attention from Daphne and Pete.
