We pay extra to avoid a mess. Comfort Suites are usually nice and clean. Stayed on a weekend in January traveling through town. We have stayed at other Comfort Suites and this one was slightly disappointing. This is an older hotel that appears to have been renovated at some point. The rooms are now smoke-free, but ours did have a stale odor that it had been smoked in a some point. We travelled to Abingdon for an overnight trip. Hotel stay was so good that we ended up staying for 3 nights. Loved their Hot Breakfast. Had lots of fun in their indoor heated pool and hot tub. Brand new hotel at very reasonable rate. more
