This was a spontaneous thing. I nabbed a room on Priceline for $55 plus tax. A killer deal. Then I read the reviews here and my expectations nose-dived. I sweet talked the woman at the front desk..."priceline...blah,blah.blah...bad reviews on tripadvisor...blah,blah,blah...Hilton Honors member...blah,blah,blah...best room possible...blah,blah,blah." She put us in a great end unit with a jacuzzi and a great view of... more

Got a 1 night stay via Priceline for $69+tax. Went to check in at 3pm, rooms were not ready. Rooms still not ready at 5pm. I begged because I had to go to an evening meeting, and got a room. The entire hotel reeks of cigarette smoke, even though we had a non-smoking room. They charge $9/day parking for hotel... more

I made a reservation here over a week that my regular Marriott and most other hotels are completely booked. I did not realize that my reservation stated it was in a parlor room (which meant the only bed was a pull out sofa) however I made the best of it. There was a police conference in town which this hotel... more

I read previous reviews and was worried about staying here. But I had a conference here and so had no choice. While I have some minor complaints about the hotel, and the location is awful (unless you have a meeting in the hotel), the hotel overall is perfectly fine. I'll start with the positive: I have no complaints about the... more

When I saw this hotel the first things I thought were, elegant, unique, expensive, luxurious, etc. The only good thing about this hotel was the shuttle, which takes you to and from Regan airport, and pentagon city mall (make sure to get out there early, it does fill up). The service is terrible, it seemed like most of the people... more

15 Apr 2009 | Trip type: Family

On check in, my husband asked for a room with a view. The front desk clerk replied, "those rooms are not for our Priceline customers". The room assigned to our family had a broken lamp, a broken lock on the door, a blackened burned outlet next to the coffee pot, a huge mold stain above the shower, a large red... more

I stayed and attended a conference at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center from 2/24-2/26/2009. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the waterfront galleries and shops of Old Town. Though the hotel is located in a business mall, it is modern, spacious and the staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel has one restaurant, Finn and Porter, that serves... more

First, you can't find the hotel because the lights that says Hitlon are not on. I stayed in a smoking room that was disgusting. The room had a jacuzzi but the jets were black with caked up dirt so I didn't dare use it. The shower had dried dark drippings on the tile, I think they forgot that the tile... more

I booked it because it was a Hilton property near my business. My experience was bad from check in to check out. They do not provide the standard Hilton Honors amenties like other properties such as a free breakfast. Was also surprised there was no hot tub and the pool was very cold. I had a room with no view... more

We stayed there for the NY's eve 2008, Dec. 31 2008- Jan.1 2009. The room was nice, there's nothing wrong with it but the service was the reason we would never stay in this hotel again, it was such a shame, considering it was Hilton hotel! The check in took longer than 30 minutes and there was a giant line.... more
