I took a one-hour nap in the first afternoon after check-in. I got bitten by bedbugs!!! I switched a room, and then it was ok for the other nights. more

The hotel is located at 3335 Lee Hwy, in Arlington, VA and is 4 miles from the Downtown DC area. We got a rate of $84 per night and it goes down to $59 if you stay 8 nights or more. The rooms are small but are clean and have a micro/fridge. They offer coffee and bagels in the morning... more

First off, the windows do not open. Upon entering the floor, there was an extremely moldy colorxy, tremendous smell which suffocated us beyond disbelief. Smell of smoke was rampant in the hallways entering our room as well. We tried to open the windows only to find that the windows do not open. Not even an inch. Completely shut. The room... more

So think motel. Car park, minimal reception area (friendly manager, no Swiss service tho'), not expensive. Breakfast was minimal too, supermarket bagels, jelly/cream cheese, coffee and juice. Help yourself, take it back to your room. The internet works well. The room was clean, everything worked, it was generously sized, quiet... had tea/coffee, and a proper bath tub. This is an... more

In common with the reviewer from May 2005 several things were stolen from our room whilst we were staying at this hotel (iPod, camera, jewellery etc.), but there was no sign of an obvious break-in. Having read the above review I can now understand how this happened, especially as one day, when we returned to our room in the early... more

This is my 5th trip to this hotel. I have business interests in Arlington and the price and location of this hotel is unbeatable. Tonight I had to be given five different rooms before one was thought to be acceptable. The first room had a refrigerator in constant defrost with a room rug that caught every drip. The second room... more

The hotel is adequate it you don't plan to spend much time in your room. The location is not very good for walking and the metro is a long way off. The rooms are dark with one slit window. Unfortunately, the a/c and fridge were noisy and need updating. The room could have been cleaner (found a wrapper by the... more

This is a reasonable budget motel, with a below-average price and rooms and service to match. Price: I paid $97 plus tax for a single – a good price for the area. Be warned that the "total price” at the bottom of the quote by One Travel for this and other properties does not include taxes. Location: The motel is... more

good for area price, but only expect basic amenities, clean and tidy, and very friendly and helpfull staff, however perfect for closeness to metro into DC, 5 minute drive away. Several good local restuarants. A good choice for the budget minded traveller who wants easy access into DC , i would use again more
