The outside is absolutely lovely, with beautiful flowers and a wonderful view of Lake Quinault. It's a pity that Jon, the owner, doesn't pay as much attention to his interiors as the exterior! The Lake Quinault Resort has four new rooms and five old ones. We were unfortunate enough to get one of the older rooms. UGH. I wore my... more

We booked the room at the last minute and were more than pleased when we arrived. It was a beautifull spot on the lake with well kept rooms with a homey feel . The owner was a great down to earth guy who went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. With a campfire by... more

I booked two nights at this resort four months prior to our travel dates as I was aware that decent lodging on the Olympic Peninsula can be scarce in the summer. I booked online via the resort's website and received a "confirmation" email stating the room booked, the dates of our stay, deposit received, and amount due on arrival. After... more

So it is not perfect, but we really enjoyed this place. Comfortable enough with great patios and furniture to enjoy sitting out and looking at the lake. The owner was very friendly. We were happy to have a fridge and microwave. Only downsides, very minor, were not having utensils, plates, etc., and the bathroom was a bit small. I would... more

We do a lot of business travel and have "done all the four stars". This was not a four star, but it was definitely charming, relaxing and beautiful. Our room was private. We had 2 queens, one in a bedroom and one in the "living area". I have a ten year daughter who, after the days affairs, was bummed not... more

This property is located on the north shore of Lake Quinault, smack dab in the middle of the magnificent rain forest. We found it to be clean and generally well-maintained. A previous reviewer cited some construction on the grounds, which was still ongoing during our one-night visit. I agree that it did not compromise our stay at all. Some negatives:... more

The property is gorgeous once you step onto the deck and overlook the lake. There is some minor construction in the back for additional units in the future, but nothing that takes away from the overall upkeep of the property. The owners are very nice and attentive. They are hands off and are available when you need them. The property... more

We stayed at the Lake Quinault Resort for 3 nights as a base while we explored the Quinault Rainforest. We chose it after a careful reading of all of the other reviews for this property as well as others surrounding Lake Quinault such as the Lake Quinault Lodge. After several drives around Lake Quinault at 30 miles each and seeing... more

My husband and I came across the Lake Quinault Lodge by chance. We were traveling through and it had been snowing all day so the roads were horrible. So we decided to check this resort out that our close friends had recommended to us if we decided to stay anywhere in that area. The young couple that owned it was... more

Talk about filthy!!! I apologize but we found the accommodations to be somewhat repulsive unless of course your from the Grays Harbor area. Then I understand the allure. We won't be returning. more
