scenic shore has an excellent rate-excellent owners-very pet friendly.....however---fishermen rule the roost, at 3 am it starts, they talk loudly,walk back and forth constantly causing our dogs after 4-5 trips past our upstairs room to bark......then they were outside til 4 or so laughing and talking loudly. this returns at dusk---so sleeping in or going to sleep is in spurts.... more

This is our second stay at this property. We were surprised to find that it had been sold. Nothing, however, has changed. The property is still clean, the new owners are as nice and helpful as the old, and the rates are still the best in the area. We will certainly be back when we are in the area! more

Only traveling through the area and found the Scenic Shore on-line. Liked the reviews on Trip Advisor so made a one-night reservation. Wonderful location and the sunrise view is beautiful; the new owners (Bob & Lori, I think...) are just as nice as can be; and the room was comfortable, secure, and clean (my requirements for any place we stop).... more

I had a very nice stay at the Scenic Shore Inn. It was very reasonably priced (just $54 a night) and had a great view of Lake Michigan. Also the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. more

This is a VERY comfortable, quiet place to stay, especially for business people. It is a newer motel with very nice furnishings.
