I didn't like the hotel at all, becase the room I stayed in Costamar Hotel, first floor, was very strange: there were window bars, and I felt myself as I was in prison and not on holidays. The brick floors should be changed for new ones. The breakfast room in top floor have a nice view of the beach, but the breakfast itself could be better for the price I paid. The staff was friendly and well educated. The location is not on the best beaches of Maceió, but is ok if you just want to have some beers in the "barracas" (kind of bars by the sea). A good point is that you can eat good meals in those "barracas". It's easy to book a taxi in the reception and also a transfer to airport. I could stay there again, but I certainly would avoid the rooms in the first floor, because the discomfort of the windows bars. more
