Went in slow season toward end of October. Weather was humid with intermittent rain showers, very few guests at the time; it was peaceful and idyllic with lots of beautiful scenic picture opportunities. The staff is extremely nice and attentive. They will see to your every request and coordinate special trips, or whatever you want to do to make your... More

What a magical place! The rooms are very clean and artistic. YOu are surrounded by rainforest and the wonderful Amazon. Caymen hunting was very exciting. Loved the jungle hike also. No mosquitoes because of the Rio Negri. Would recommend takng more time to walk around the resort. Walks go everywhere. Monkeys are everywhere too! Our guide was very knowledgeable and... More

Agreed with the previous reviews - if you are looking for pure luxury and pampering; look elsewhere. This is a basic accomodation surrounded by jungle and nature. There are birds, monkeys and insects all over the place. We stayed in one of the tree houses (Casa de Tarzan) ; the climbing up to the tree house is an unique experience... More

Listen folks - this is not the Four Seasons so if you are expecting that type of experience this will not be for you. It is the jungle + expectations should be adjusted based on that. Excellent tour guides + staff made the stay enjoyable and unforgettable. The rooms are functional + clean. Given the daily activities you will hit... More

It's in the rainforest. If you don't want the jungle experience, stay in the city and miss an incredible time. Take the time to do the rainforest hike, piranha fishing, boat trips by night, and you won't regret it. The rooms are in towers built on stilts over the water. It's not like staying at the Ritz, but you didn't... More

Excellent tourism for one day to get an idea of the equatorial jungle or stay a night in the jungle. By boat 1 hour and 40 minutes of embarking in Manaus at Tropical Hotel pier in Ponta Negra. At first arrival the whole wooden structure, originally built for 26 years, it seems fragile, but once you get used to integrate... More

Ariau Amazon Hotel Hotel is an adventure in-its-self.... the room, the shower, the elevated walkways, the food, the jungle... would we do it again? Absolutely - without a question. We got the four day package - which included meals & tours/adventures. Swimming with the'Pink-dolphins' was extra and not to be missed. More

We loved it here. From the moment we arrived and saw a wild spider monkey running along the boat ramp to check us out to all of the endangered squirrel monkeys that chase you around trying to get some food from you (hint: when you leave the buffet bring some grapes with you to pay off the monkey, haha). Great... More

We usually travel to much smaller nature resorts across the world. Ariau is a massive place with several large towers. Tourists are brought in from all over the world. Haviong said all this, the offering was excellent : nice excursions (3-4 per day), good food, friendly guides, professional staff. We did do all the trips that were included in the... More
