Stayed at the Cana Brava this past weekend with my young family. We had two rooms and although we requested connecting rooms this was not provided. The rooms themselves were ok, clean as you would expect in Brazil but not particularly well equipped. The refrigerator was old and noisy, the tv was small and reception not great and the air con looked like a new split system but had no grunt! The bathroom was average, toilet seat was one of those dreadful cushioned ones(my husband loved it!) and the shower had a plastic curtain and wooden soap dish which were both stained with soap scum....not great. As far as amenities go there are the usual pool, playground, gym, massage, sauna etc. All good especially for this part of the world but the pool filtration system and chlorination left a little to be desired.
The restaurant is buffet only and good but not great.
There is a small zoo, with some parrots, budgerigar and one lonely monkey.....some wandering geese and ducks - all... more
