Sadly, not a palace at all!! When we checked into the hotel, which we found was very shabby, we were given a key (didn't work as often happens) to a room where the door to the balcony didn't shut, so the wind off the ocean was whistling. The beds were tiny! and very 2nd rate, more like a cheap motel.... more

This hotel has a good location in Salvador de Bahia, you have Ondina beach close to the hotel, you see it from the swimming pool and is not far from the city center (Pelourinho) by taxi.
