I liked the hotel. It's just in front of the beach of "porto da barra", the room was big and well manteined for brazilian standards. The breakfast was excelent. The minute you get outside of it, there is a lot of life and noice - from the beach (especially in the weekends), from taxi-drivers and from people that want to sell you a lot of - I'm sorry to say - useless things. Good location, good price. Two major problems: noise outside the hotel and the building is extremely old. If you want a quiet place to rest, this is not a good choice for you.
