This is an excellent small hotel, interestingly converted out of two neighbouring properties, with wonderful harbour views from several rooms, including the dining room where perfect breakfasts are served. Located in the historic district, it is a short, safe, walk from the major tourist attractions of Pelhourino. The owners and staff are helpful and charming. more

I've travelled all over the world, and this pousada is one of the best I've ever stayed. We had a great room -a deluxe with terrace overlooking the front of the hotel -churches, the city, but not a lot of noise (except for the occasional musicians). What an excelent Pousada! Loved everything: the location (very near to the centre - Pelourinho), the best breakfast in the World, the view to Salvador's harbour and Todos os Santos Bay, The kindness of the staff, the price... just excelent! I'd visit again and again! Fantastic stay! more
