Service and reception were very unpersonnal or apathic. The "suite" is in fact just two rooms, one with a french bed, one with two single beds, and the "veranda" is a very small space in front of your room door with a sight on the patio where common spaces, the smokers corner and the other rooms have their entrance. Room was huge and with all the facilities we needed, a/c large bathroom , very clean etc...breakfast was excellent with better service than weve had in 4 star hotels but the real highlight is how helpful they were in helping us arrange our trips to the islands in bahia! Top Marks ! More

The Estrela do Mar is a lovely peaceful place to stay in busy Salvador. Just steps away from the ocean, the lighthouse and Barra nightlife.
