Excellent place to stay. Nicely situated, clean rooms, wonderful service. The place felt very secure. Best breakfast on our whole holiday (3 weeks)! They even gave you a map of the area with recommendable restaurants, which we found very practical. The only thing we regreted is that we only stayed for 1 night in this lovely place. I recently stayed here with several other members of a wedding party, and I was thoroughly impressed, all around. The pousada itself is both picturesque and charming, and the breakfast they offer each morning delicious, but perhaps the most impressive aspect is the staff that runs the place. If you stay in Salvador this Pousada is excellent. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I felt really secure there, especially as there is someone on recpetion 24 hrs a day.
