Very nice hotel, central located closed to the old city Pelourinho, 15 min. walk or 5 minutes by taxi. The owner ist very friednly, helps in all cases, e.g. security, restaurant tips, excursions tips. Sometimes he is cooking. The hotel has a nice bar in the basement, but is not open every day. WLAN and PC is avaiable and free.... more
I stayed for one week at Pousada Barroco and I was very pleased with the service and with my room. The Inn is nice, clean and serves a very neat breakfast. The location is nice and easy to find. I recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a comfortable place, convenient location and great fare. A+ more
