First time visitors to Brasil went to Rio first (not impressed) then Salvador for 4 days. Hotel staff were very attentive and FRIENDLY. Rooms and restaurant are excellent. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. It was a pleasent surprise. Nothing is missing. I could spend a week there and never leave the building. The view from the pool is great. The breakfast was excellent and the staff is very helpful. I can't wait to visit again. more

It was a bit difficult to book a room because they don't have on-line booking, but the owner/operators (who live there too) Gilles and Didier were very helpful in describing the rooms and all the details. We paid extra for them to pick us up at the airport and take us back. They are wonderful hosts and speak good English... more
