We stayed recently for a week. It was my first trip to Brasil, and I speak very poor portuguese. The room was simple, but the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping it immaculately clean. Buffet breakfast was very well done. We did much cooking in our room, including some lovely fresh shrimp bought a few blocks from the hotel. We enjoyed the use of the gym facilities, and pool. The rooftop pool was small, but adequate and well-kept. We were treated very well here for our entire trip. The front desk staff, especially George Kemp, made every effort to make our stay a memorable one - we will definitely fo back again and again. more
