The hotel is very well positioned in front of the main coastal avenue of Fortaleza. However, it is very deficient in basic services. Stayed at the Gran Marquise for two weekday nights in September, 2011. Outstanding service, and good location. I had no trouble getting taxis to anywhere in the city, and the beachfront room I had was large and scrupulously clean. Highly recommended. I had no problem sleeping.
