Not one of my favourite hotels, and one I will avoid in future.

Staff were very rude and unhelpful. We ate dinner the evening of arrival, tables were filthy and staff again unpleasant, food barely edible (which is unheard of in Brasil). Very small noisy cafe – so no real meeting place. Cant comment on the breakfast as I left too early, though I doubt I would have eaten there.

Rooms looked as if they hadn’t had anything done since the 50’s – and that goes for the bedding. Dirty carpets to boot.

In Brasilia I would stay at the Alvorado – much nicer hotel.

The bathroom was really bad... the toilet had a seat that didn't fit, and wouldn't stay open. I stayed two nights, and the sink was not cleaned when the room was made up. The beds were hard and uncomfortable with bedspreads that were like cardboard. I reluctantly... more
