To be fair: it is not a bad hotel, especially considering the bad experiences I had with hotels in Brasilia in the past. But when one pays the price of a 5-stars hotel, one expects 5-stars quality. Grand Bittar would have been an excellent 3-stars hotel, but is a below-average 5-stars one. Location is not a differential in Brasilia, since... More

It was a modern hotel with excellently but simply designed furniture in the room. The coffee was the worst I have had in my entire trip to Brazil. It tasted burnt and no matter what I did to it, it would not improve. The people serving the coffee should taste it so they will find out had bad it is,... More

I just stay there in a non-carpet nice room. The room was not perfect, but it is comfortable. A problem for me was the noise from the highway just besides the hotel, but that is common in Brasilia. They give a room with a nice view for the presidential palace (distant) but very much the post card view of Brasilia.... More

This is a basic hotel in need of some refurbishment. The decor was a little scruffy and the air conditioning poor. The bathroom was of poor design, had no blind on the window and the shower was sporty to get in and out of. There was a small bar in reception and the pool at the time of my visit... More

So I spent 2 weeks in Grand Bittar whilst working in Brasilia again ( Earlier this year I was for 4 weeks in Comfort Suites). They are situated on opposite sides of the Torre de TV and cater for largely the same market as far as I can see. (Although the guests at Bittar ranged from uniformed army and air... More

I remember when I first stayed at this hotel I tried to evaluate it on Tripadvisor, but somehow it was not avaiable or located. So I wrote to tripadvisor about it again and I didn't get a reply, but here it is so anyways... This is a good hotel in Brasilia. No mistake. Breakfast is huge, with lots of options of palstry,... You can consider Grand Bittar Hotel a Comfort Hotel (***). The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable (no beverage offer in the room). Internet access in the room is a bit slow, and cost US$ 10 a day. Bathroom is spacious, but do not expect amenities. The furniture needs an upgrade, but nothing very remarquable. Breakfast is well served, with... More

I found this hotel to be very decent, with good reception service as well as large and comfortable rooms (I had one on the 13th floor with balcony and nice view over Brasilia). The furniture won't win any good taste awards, but is entirely OK for a hotel of this type. Compared to other hotels visited in 2012 in Brazil,... More

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in December 2011. The hotel looks new, rooms are comfortable, excelent breakfast, friendly staff, etc. The hotel is very conveniently located just a few minutes away from the "Esplanada" of Ministries. You can also find a good shopping mall at walking distance (something rare in a city like Brasilia). On the... More
