After reading the review of the other Sorriso do Lagarto in Belo Horizonte, I had misgivings about this place but as it turned out, it wasn't bad. Although it lies on a busy road, most of the rooms are situated away from it, hence it's reasonably quiet. Nothing very special as accommodation goes, but for a hostel it's clean enough and there is the option of a private room for those who don't like dormitories. There are self-catering facilities and the staff are pleasant. more
