This used to be the best hotel in town back in the 80s and one must feel like it is still living in the past. The city is in incredibly hot and humid, the whole thing seems sticky and damp: floors, walls, beedsheets, you name it. I can't really tell how other hotels deal with it, but I'm sure there... More

It is amazing that Hilton keeps its name on a property so badly needing renovation. Except for a great location, everything else is lacking or needs improvement. Elevators are filthy, rooms are unkept, airconditioning is noisy and mildew smelling, wireless service ovepriced and very slow. More

Located in front of the Theatro de la Paz, it is great location. Rooms are old, decoration if any is dull. restaurant is ok pool with concrete floors and plastic chairs is not a romantic place a lot of waiting for checking in or out. laundry is not doing a good job. Around a lot of Posadas or small hotels... More

The hotel is clean, rooms of a nice size and a restaurante that has a very good fish. The prices at the restaurant are about the same or cheaper than others in town. Good breakfast. It is fair, Probably the best or second best in Belém. The people at reception are able and willing to help you with tours and... More

Well its "the" Hilton in Belem. and its difficult to find a good hotel in Brasil or Belem which meet european or international standard. thats for sure. But dont understand why? The Hilton in Belem ask more or less international prieces. In europe or the staats guest would run away. the location downtown is good - every place is easy... More

Although the sign on the building says Hilton, it’s nothing like any Hilton. This hotel is a basic hotel, more like a Motel 6 or other low quality hotel. The lobby, restaurant and pool area are not bad. They are not great, but it’s ok. The location, like the Crown Plaza, is good; right in the center and close to... More

Whilst not a premium hotel brand you come to expect certain standards from a Hilton, especially being told in the Lonely Planet that it is the best hotel in Belem. Well, I dread to think what the others are like! To start with, this hotel is tired, dated & serves the least impressive food I have tasted in a while.... More

The Hilton has a long history and tradition in Belém. I say that because that is the only way to explain this place has kept the full Hilton brand. The hotel is something close to a time traveling experience back to the 70's, both in the common areas and in the room (the TV is maybe from the 80's). The... More

Hilton Belem is expensive and could use a good renovation but the room was clean and decent. Location is great, very central in front a lovely park and historical theatre, walking distance from the main mall. I hate to think travel as staying stuck in rooms but cleaningness and a good mattress matter a lot to me. That is why... More

I usually stay at the Crowne Plaza when I go to Belem for business. But at this time the travel agency booked Hilton and I was not concerned at all... it is a Hilton, mind you. But, I was completely wrong in assuming that this was supposed to have a certain quality standard just because it is a Hilton hotel.... More
