It was my first stay in B&B and I was not sure what to expect. My experience in Residenz exceeded all expectations. B&B building is a huge victorian filled with antiques, but owners happened to be very modern people who just escaped from a big city lifestyle several years ago! Their cooking skills were exceptional, our breakfasts were setting the special tone for the day. The location in Ashland is very convenient for anyone who wants to explore the surroundings of Lake Superior, visit Bayfield and see Copper Falls at the same time. I think it is better than staying in Bayfield as it allows easy access to more areas. I would highly recommend Residenz to everyone who wants to try B&B experience.
