My wife and I stayed overnight at this hotel, and the traffic roar from the nearby Av. Batel was overpowering - so much so that, at 3 o'clock in the morning, we had no choice but to ask the front desk staff to move us to a quieter room. While this was done without further discussion, it should be pointed out that we had asked the daytime desk staff about quieter rooms, as we suspected upon checking in that traffic noise in our room might be an issue at night. (The reply was that were no other rooms available - which was obviously not true.) Needless to say, this experience really colored our opinion of this property, which otherwise could be a perfectly likable little hotel, with nicely decorated rooms and a good location. As it is, I only give it an "average" rating because of these positives, along with the obliging attitude of the night staff.
