When I arrived to the hotel, I had a great surprise, since this hotel has a different concept and has a modern and fashion hall, with a soothing electronic music and a beautiful environment. Stayed on two separate occasions and had a good sized modern room with sitting area and desk on the 13th floor. Large comfortable beds and good functional bathroom.Only downside was some bathroom noise from adjacent room but this was not a problem as they were on same time frame as me. English spoken on reception and helpful, allowed late 4pm... more

I have rented two suites at Pestana for my honeymoon, and it was also where we got ready for our wedding day. Paying three times the normal rate for a honeymoon package, the first surprise was tthe size of the room, so tiny, the second was that we had to ask (and wait a lot) for the all the amenities... more

I have been here for 2weeks and complained about there internet service many times but internet service is still terribly slow. Skype and all Video chat ALWAYS freezes(images) and downloading of files are tiresome..Only good for message chat.But if you plan to do video chatting and video streaming, forget it.The worst hotel service I ever experienced...Hotel Pestana wake up!!!! I spent one night at the Pestana on business and wished I could have stayed longer. I did not arrive until midnight, and was very warmly welcomed by the staff. I asked if it would be possible to have a late checkout the following day, and it was arranged free of charge for 4.30pm, which I thought was excellent customer... more

I hadn't really heard of Curitiba, but when I noticed that it was situated between Rio and Iguazu, I decided it would make an ideal stopping point for my family (three children, husband, me).
