Really good hostel. Its three blocks from the copacabana beach. The staff are extremely helpful. The dorms are just ok as there are three bunk beds on top of each other and the pillows are terrible!! But the hostel is really clean, kitchen is well equipped and the location is good. I would recommend it to a friend more

My good friend and I stayed at the Walk on the Beach (WOTB) hostel during a 10 day trip to Argentina and Brazil in August 2008. We stayed 6 days and I have to say we had a great time. Being first time backpackers (my friend's first time off of north america) we had no idea what a hostel would... more

Phenomenal hostel - very clean, friendly, knowledgeable staff, and safe, centrally located part of Copacabana. You can walk to Copacabana (10 minutes) OR Ipanema (20 minutes) - the location is that good! They will schedule outings, tours, provide a complimentary drink at the hostel bar on your first night, don't allow non-guests in to the dorm areas upstairs (good for... more
