This was the first hotel of a tour we did and despite being the most basic was also the best. Upon arrival we were greeted by an extremely friendly woman with impeccable English who made us feel welcome and despite the fact we in no way expected it offered to carry our luggage for us. The room was basic but comfortable with soft beds, air conditioning and a small clean bathroom with shower and sink. The room had a television with English channels available. Breakfast in the morning consists of a bread roll, jam and coffee basic but sufficient.

Overall this is a basic hotel but if you don't need luxury it is a perfect base for exploring Rio de Janeiro more
