We stayed at Flavia's House in the lovely hill of Santa Teresa in Rio de Janeiro in August.
The house is big, with a very nice small garden at the back and a lovely view. He had the triple bedroom at the first floor (the house offers two other smaller rooms).
The problem was that the owner lived there and made a lot of noise at night, she invited her friends over and they drunk and talked very loudly until midnight. Also, the piping was horrible the wastewater did not go away and although we asked her to fix the problem from the first day, she did nothing at all.
And last but not least, on the day of our arrival, even though the owner knew our time of arrival she was not there and we waited in the street for one hour and a half (let's not forget this is Rio, it is not the safest city in the world, there was a guard who guarded the street and asked a neighbor to keep the luggage in her house, he was afraid someone may rob us).
