We spent two (2) consecutive nights on a business trip. The hotel was clean and located directly across from the beach. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Walking distance to the city, shopping and restaurants. Internet access was very expensive. The buffet restaurant food was good, but got repetitive. The location is great, right on Copacobana beach. The staff are very helpful and excellent at making arrangements and advice for restaurants, tours, shops, cash machines, taxis etc. The hotel provides a taxi service which is only marginally more expensive than a normal cab and is reliable. Stayed here for a week in August with wife and 9 year old son. Great location, right across from the beach. Free chair/umbrella service on beach. Small rooftop deck and pool. This hotel reminds me of a US style Hilton. Was once new but isn't now. Kind of upper end but not really. Once you realize that, you'll be happy.... More
