I would highly recommend staying at this property especially if this is your first time visit to Rio. The service is 5 star as you would expect it to be. It is expensive yes, but you really get what you pay for, high quality service. We arrived to the hotel at 11pm after a very long flight from Paris, and... More

We stayed a night in the Copacabana Palace as part of a post-cruise package. The staff needed to check in a large number of us with baggage, and we arrived hours before check-in time. I was amazed at how accommodating the staff was under the circumstances. We had full access to the spa, showers, pool, and their area of the... More

The hotels area on the bech was rediculous. More than anorganized. Veeeeery far from the sea. With a very noisy compresseur for water! More

Loved the Service and the feel of this Grand hotel. Location was great and felt safe. Pool and Beach service are worth a stay. The City View Room in the original building, not so great. Slow Plumbing, Poor water pressure. Blow Dryer plug did not fit in Socket you had to hold it while drying you hair. We had room... More

From the moment I arrived, the staff at Copacabana greeted me with open arms. From Alessandro (I believe this was his name) who checked me to the IT Technician who came to my immediate help with business documents that needed to be color printed. I must also highlight Daisy Gil Ketzer, Guest Relations Manager who is extraordinarily professional, kind and... More

We spent 4 nights of our week's honeymoon in Rio aft Copacabana Palace after an initally disappointing start to our week at another hotel, basically this hotel and their staff salvaged our honeymoon and now when we think of our honeymoon we think only of them and have amazing memories thanks to them! The hotel may be huge and spotless... More

The hotel has real potential, but when two hotel managers blatantly lied to me last week, there was little they could subsequently do to change my opinion that this is a poorly run establishment. My room was small--not a problem. But after my husband and I dropped a large sum to eat at one of Rio's best restaurants, we returned... More

Nice hotel. very friendly and good service. Good food. Nice pool. But a bit old fashioned hotel. Rooms good but not great. Choice of restaurants very limited. Breakfast buffet nice but not exciting. All in all, a nice hotel, but too expensive for what you get. Also the location is not fantastic; Copacabana is highly overrated. More

This time, I booked through AMEX Centurion and was upgraded to junior suite, late check-out, free dinner for 2 and a 100 US spa voucher. For me, it is still one of the best hotels in the whole of Brazil. It has everything: Iconic and historic building on prime location, very well trained friendly and professional staff, great restaurants. Every... More

The Copacabana Palace is a grand, early twentieth century hotel, filled with character and charm. The rooms have high ceilings and many have views of the eponymous beach. With a view of one of the most famous stretches of sand in the world, what more could you want? Well, first of all, the service is always smiling but also often... More
