We had a beautiful room with a great view of Ipanema. We like the pools and the uncrowded beach. It is an easy 20 minute walk to Ipanema if you want crowds. We ate at the buffet dinner one night and had pizza by the pool the second--a bit expensive, but the food was fine. Too bad the pool closed...
