This is merely a functional hotel. The rooms are fine for what you pay for. I found the staff a bit wary - I think they sometimes they must have dodgy guests. Stayed here for 5 night in november. First stayed at hotel on Copacobana but views and neighbourhood here were disappointing. Next moved to Arpoador Inn, very friendly staff, felt welcome. The rooms here are so small and have not been updated in ages. When I walked in I was instantly depressed. We had a street view on the 3rd floor and would have been up all night from the noise. This is the best hotel you can pick in Rio. The location is awesome near Arpoador beach, you don't have to cross the street to go to the beach like Copacabana Hotels. Price is very low and rooms are confortable and clean, breakfast is very good too. I recommend it to everyone going to Rio! more
