I have a soft spot in my heart for this hotel. No, it is not the "Grand Dame" of Copacabana hotels, but it offers a fantastic beachfront location for a very reasonable price. Yeah it is right on Copacabana Beach but it is extremely run down, furniture and beds in the rooms are terrible. It is overpriced for what it is. The beach is not that nice anyway (then again I am a spoilt Australian used to much better beaches) and the nearby area dangerous at night - I would recommend staying further... more

Hi! I spent a week at this hotel. It's old...the furniture is very old but it's ok! You spend most of the time at the beach or around the city so it's ok. They have a great location, just in front of Copacabana and they have a wonderful buffet breakfast! The staff is nice and they have internet for a... more
